FDR-Tools 2.32 crashes after installation

I am using FDR-Tools Advanced since two years (though not really often). Now I downloaded FDR-Tools Advanced 2.3.2 and installed it. At the first start of the program it crashed "Windows - Kein Datenträger, Exception processing message *****".

When I now started my old version 2.3.0 it crashes the same way. Even deinstallation (of both versions) and reinstallation of 2.3.2 did not help.

I am using Windows XP 64.

Can anybody help to get my FDR-Tolls back working?

I searched the net and found this (in german): http://blog.patrickkempf.de/2005/nervige-fehlermeldung/

Just a guess: could it be you have defined projects with images on a removable medium and have saved the project descriptions on this medium? If you remove the medium and start FDRTools it tries to open the projects from the medium. If it is not available this might cause the error message.
